چکیده
Objectives: The objective of this study was to utilize digital models and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) radiographs quantify the skeletal dentoalveolar maxillary expansion in Phase I orthodontic treatment using clear aligner therapy. Material Methods: Fifty-four patients (22 females 32 males) had measurements taken on both pre-treatment post-treatment intraoral scans from mesiolingual cusps permanent first molars cusp tips primary canines perform model analysis expansion. planned amount ClinCheck ® setup compared actual Twenty-nine (14 15 out 54 CBCT scans, which also allowed us between data. Results: Posterior 2.40 mm anterior 4.01 observed. A comparison with showed percent yields 51.15% for posterior 64.73% displayed 1.89 molars, 1.87 molar cementoenamel junctions (CEJs), an angle change −1.16° (buccal tipping) 3.64 canines, 1.78 canine CEJs, 24.73° (facial canines. Conclusion: Our highlights potential capability aligners shows that does occur use aligners.

Evaluation of Cone Beam Computed Tomography in Diagnosis and Treatment Plan of Impacted Maxillary Canines
Introduction: Maxillary canines have important roles in facial appearance, development of arch, and functional occlusion. Radiographs are important in evaluating the location and nature of these anomalies. The purpose of this study was to evaluate two types of 2D and 3D imaging technique in diagnosis and treatment of maxillary impacted canines. Methods: Thirty eight patients (50 impacted canine...
متن کاملUpper airway expansion after rapid maxillary expansion evaluated with cone beam computed tomography.
OBJECTIVE Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a reliable method of assessing the oral cavity and upper airways. We conducted this study to examine the changes introduced by rapid maxillary expansion in the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, and oropharynx as seen with images obtained by CBCT. MATERIALS AND METHODS We evaluated 15 patients with maxillary width deficiency treated with RME. Patients...
متن کاملEvaluation of alveolar bone loss following rapid maxillary expansion using cone-beam computed tomography
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the changes in cortical bone thickness, alveolar bone height, and the incidence of dehiscence and fenestration in the surrounding alveolar bone of posterior teeth after rapid maxillary expansion (RME) treatment using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). METHODS The CBCT records of 20 subjects (9 boys, mean age: 13.97 ± 1.17 years; 11 girls, mean age: 13.53 ± 2.12 year) ...
متن کاملCone-Beam computed tomography evaluation of maxillary expansion in twins with cleft lip and palate
Objective: This study describes the clinical case of monozygotic twins with unilateral cleft lip and palate at the age of mixed dentition, who were treated using the same rapid maxillary expansion protocol, but with two different screws (conventional and fan-type expansion screw). Results were evaluated using plaster models, intraoral and extraoral photographs, and Cone-Beam computed tomography...
متن کاملEvaluation of neurovascular anatomical variations in maxillary anterior region in cone beam computed tomography images
Introduction: Incisive foramen in the maxilla is the oral terminus of the nasopalatine canal. This region is important in implantology, Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the neurovascular anatomical variations in the maxillary anterior region, observed on cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images. Materials &Methods: In this cross-sectional study, maxillary CBCT ima...
